Infrastructure of MMRC

Electrical service is provided by East Kentucky Power through the Fleming Mason Rural Electric Cooperative with a 12 MVA distribution substation.

Morehead Utility Plant Board serves water and wastewater needs. Both 4-inch and 8-inch wastewater lines serve MMRC.  A wastewater pump station is located centrally to accommodate industry needs.

  • Treatment Capacity: 5,000,000 gallons per day
  • Average Daily Flow: 3,630,000 gallons per day
  • Excess Capacity: 1,370,000 gallons per day

A 16-inch water line serves the business park from a 1,000,000 million gallon water tank. A 12-inch water line also serves from the east end of the park property.

  • Expandability: 10,000,000 GPD
  • Average Daily Flow: 6,668,000 GPD

Delta Natural Gas serves the site with a 4-inch high-pressure line capable of providing service to the most demanding of users. El Paso energy has an interstate transportation line on site. This enables large users the ability to purchase natural gas at the source allowing for great savings.
